Hyundai’s N performance division seems to have their hands full as of late. Along side the debut of the i30 N Fastback, Hyundai also debuted their upcoming N Option line of customization featured in this souped up i30 N hatchback. Called the i30 N with N Option, Hyundai’s N has gone to fitting it with more than 25 unique parts both inside and out, making it stand out from your run-of-the-mill i30 N hatchback.

“With our N portfolio we are shaking up the competition, and bringing new performance and emotions for our customers. The development of our N vehicles is grounded in Motorsport and our engagement there is the pinnacle of N. The new i30 N Line and our i30 N ‘N Option’ show car illustrate our dual approach to customisation, making N available to a wider audience,” says Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President High Performance Vehicles & Motorsport Division at Hyundai

For starters, Hyundai’s hot hatch fitted with the N Option now sits on large 20-inch wheels with a multi-spoke design and is fitted with high performance semi-slick tires. Aside from the new wheels, there’s also a large carbon fiber rear wing with the N emblem and a carbon fiber hood vented hood. Up front, the N grill has been accented by a red character line. At the rear, there’s a new quad-pipe exhaust.

Inside, there are black carbon accents seen on the dashboard, air vents, door handles and the steering wheel. There is also more Alcantara which now covers the steering wheel, bucket seats and dashboard.

There was no mention whether the N Option kit made changes to the i30 N’s powertrain. That said, we can expect it to be producing the same 250 PS or 275 PS (with optional performance package) from its 2.0-liter inline four turbo engine.

Hyundai has announced that the N Option kit will be made available in the near future. Expect most of the parts found on the i30 N to soon be available to the public. We also hope that the N Option parts make its way to other Hyundai vehicles as well.
