Hyundai reveals Veloster Midship concept
Hyundai uses new Veloster Miship concept to explore further potential for its chassis.

Hyundai Motor Company has just unveiled the Veloster Midship (also known as the Rear Mid) at the 2014 Busan International Motor Show.
Developed by Hyundai Motor Company's High Performance Team, this two-seater rear mid concept incorporates the best of Hyundai’s performance technologies, which include a turbocharged 2.0-liter Theta GDI engine with 295HP, lightweight aluminum suspension, a high-rigidity chassis and a mid-engined mini-supercar layout.
The engine is found behind the front row and within the wheelbase giving the Veloster Midship ‘ideal weight distribution and handling balance.’
This concept allows Hyundai to explore possibilities for the Veloster chassis but according to the South Korean automaker it is currently not connected to any future production model.
