Hyundai has come a long way in the Philippines. From offering the Starex van, the company is now selling sedans, crossovers, SUVs, as well as hybrid vehicles. The automaker has certainly achieved numerous milestones ever since it was first established in the country two decades ago.
In line with its 20th anniversary in the country, Hyundai Asia Resources Inc (HARI), the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in the Philippines, has officially opened its 41st dealership.
Ready to serve customers in Cavite is Hyundai Silang. The newly-opened dealership serves as Hyundai Alabang Inc’s (HAI) sixth dealership, led by Dealer Principal, William Chiongbian III.
According to HARI, Hyundai Silang will revolutionize the automotive landscape of Silang and greater Cavite. Moreover, the company claims that the Silang dealership will complement the overall growth of the region.
“We are here to help move people and businesses and, ultimately, contribute to driving the much-needed economic recovery at the municipal, provincial and regional levels. We put our extensive portfolio of safe and reliable vehicles and the skills, hard work, and dedication of our employees to the service of the Silangeños in the new normal,” said Chiongbian.
The new dealership features the brand’s global design standards. It has an elegant and convenient space tailored for eco-friendly operations. More importantly, Hyundai Silang makes use of the company’s Guidelines for Protection and Safety (GPS). First implemented last year, it is HARI’s series of safety protocols to ensure customers and employees in dealerships are safe amid the pandemic.
Hyundai Silang is also certified GREEEN (Geared for Resiliency and Energy Efficiency for the Environment) by the Philippine Green Building Initiative (PGBI). It received the “Molave” rating, or 75% compliant with PGBI’s GREEEN standards.
For Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo, president and CEO of HARI, the opening of Hyundai Silang will usher in a new revolution as the company tries to overcome the effects of the ongoing pandemic.
“Today, we stand at the front lines of a new revolution in our struggle to overcome the devastating impact of COVID-19. We at Hyundai are one with the people of Silang in restoring and revitalizing local businesses,” added Agudo.
Hyundai Alabang Inc. has been in operation for nearly two decades in the country. It has strengthened Hyundai’s presence south of Metro Manila, and beyond. They manage Hyundai Alabang, Hyundai Las Pinas, Hyundai San Pablo, Hyundai Naga City, and Hyundai Southern Mindanao.
Hyundai Silang is located at Barangay Lalaan 1, Aguinaldo Highway, Silang, Cavite.
