Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM), the Daihatsu subsidiary in Indonesia, debuts eight concept models at the Indonesia International Motor Show 2013 that started on September 19. In light with its aim, the brand demonstrates the process of making fuel-efficient and affordable cars, and its initiative to boost the brand’s localization.
The eight concepts on display are the following:
The UFC 2, the compact vehicle that can accommodate seven passengers (pictured above)
CUV, Daihatsu’s take on the crossover vehicle that allows rearrangement features to create more space
D-R Estate, successor of the 2012 D-R that is equipped with a 660 cc engine
The sporty AYLA GT, that was designed to be aerodynamic
AYLA X-track (cross track), designed for off-roading
AYLA Luxury
NC-Y, for a practical and intellectual look
NC-Z, for a dynamic look
These models lined up in Indonesia shows what Daihatsu might intend to pursue in their future designs and production. Given the number of their concept vehicles that debuted all at once, how much of an impact will these vehicles create in the automotive industry?
