2018 Isuzu Xtreme Xperience goes to the City Of Mansions
After showing Cebuanos what the D-Max and mu-X were capable of last month, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has officially brought the 4x4 Xtreme Xperience to the City of Mansions. From September 21 - 23, IPC, along with Isuzu Iloilo Corporation (IIC), showed Illongos what makes the D-Max, as well as the mu-X stand out from the rest of the pack.
To demonstrate just how tough and powerful the D-Max is, the automaker brought its signature 4x4 Action Ramp at the Festive Walk Mall located in the heart of the Iloilo Business Park. There, the D-Max climbed steep inclines, as well as descended from them in a bid to show locals how safe and rugged the D-Max truly is.
Thanks to the powerful 3.0-liter BluePower turbo-diesel engine and 4WD system, the pickup truck made short work of the 4x4 Action Ramp. With 177 PS and 380 Nm of torque, the D-Max strutted its stuff time and time again. Aside from demonstrating its capabilities to everyone, Isuzu is also allowing interested customers to take a ride inside the D-Max while a dedicated driver demonstrates its abilities.
For those that prefer the mu-X, Isuzu is also holding road-tests for event goers. Available in both the 3.0-liter Bluepower and smaller 1.9-liter RZ4E powertrains, Isuzu is showing customers that the mu-X is powerful, efficient and practical whatever the engine under the hood may be.
A wide array of activities have also been set up by IPC and IIC. These include a fun photobooth, a tricky bicycle track, kid-friendly activities, and other fun-filled games. Those that are thinking of purchasing accessories or OEM parts can also check out booths where the automaker is selling original and aftermarket-sponsored equipment for the mu-X and D-Max. There are even vehicle displays that show what features can be installed on either vehicle.
Exclusive promos and other promos also await customers and goers that flock to the event.
Providing goers and onlookers a slice of entertainment on the first day of the event (Sept. 21) came courtesy of IPC brand ambassador Maja Salvador who wowed the crowd with her singing and dancing. Fans of rapper extraordinare Gloc-9 will be in for a treat as he will perform on the last day of the event (Sept. 23) from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
The Iloilo leg of the Isuzu 4x4 Xperience is open to the public from 12:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Admission for the event is free and is ongoing until the 23rd of September.
