For the upcoming North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), Infiniti will debut a new concept sedan. Infiniti dubbed it as the Q Inspiration Concept, and they say it will preview the marque's future design language. With NAIAS 2018 just a few weeks away, Infiniti has released a pair of teaser images of the concept sedan before the show kicks off.

For now, we only have a clear look of the Q Inspiration Concept's rear end a partial view of the front fascia. Apart from the photos however, Infiniti has not revealed any details about the concept sedan. They did say however, that it 'represents the next step in Infiniti design' and 'previews a new generation of Infiniti vehicles and represents the first manifestation of Infiniti's new form language.'

Infiniti reveals Q Inspiration Concept ahead of Detroit debut

Going into the details, we see that the Q Inspiration Concept has a simple flowing design with clean, simple lines coupled with a flowing roof. Most noticably, it has a fastback design unlike most traditional sedans. Up front, there is a fender vent to give it a sportier look and possibly to channel air. At the rear, there is a narrow LED taillight which runs the vehicle's width with exhausts integrated into the lower part of the bumper.

At the front, the preview shows a sculpted front end with flowing lines like the rest of the body. There are also narrow headlights with an air intake vent situated below it. Meanwhile, the grill is now 'ribbed', giving it a more aggressive design. Overall, the concept appears to be larger than Infiniti's current flagship model, the Q70.
