An all-new large luxury SUV will soon be unveiled by Infiniti at this year's New York Auto Show.
More often than not, when manufacturers release teaser photos of their upcoming vehicles, they also include small details regarding the vehicle teased. Infiniti however, has taken the most minimalist approach by only saying “Huge unveil. 11 April 2017. New York,” along with a photo of the upcoming QX80. With this kind of teaser, people curious about the QX80 would have to go to the show to get details.
Since there is not really anything to go on with the press release, the photo gives us more details regarding the front fascia of the upcoming QX80. As seen, the whole front fascia has been given an overhaul. Most noticeably, the headlights now sit higher on the fenders, and the bumper now sporting a more aggressive look with a massive intake at the corner. The windshield also seems to wrap around more the current generation QX80.
The vast differences of the upcoming QX80 Monograph seems to indicate that it may be a whole new model rather than just a refresh/facelift. The current QX80 shares the same platform as the Nissan Armada and the Nissan Patrol Royale sold locally. As to whether the QX80 Monograph will actually be a new model, we will just have to wait until Infiniti fully unveils the car at the New York Auto Show this coming April 11.
