Another Batman movie is set to hit theaters soon and it will be simply called ‘The Batman’. Apart from seeing a new actor take on the mantle of billionaire/caped crusader Bruce Wayne, what we're really interested in seeing is the new Batmobile.

We already got to see it before thanks to Matt Reeves (the film's director) posting some teaser photos of the new Batmobile alongside Robert Pattinson wearing the new Batsuit. Now, we were able to get a better look at the upcoming vehicle thanks to a scale model.

Supposedly made by Jeff Frost (who is believed to be a concept model maker working on the film), the highly-detailed scale model shows the new Batmobile in full. Looking something like out of Mad Max or Fast and Furious, the new Batmobile appears to take on the form of a muscle car of sorts.

Based on the images provided, the overall design appears to be a mishmash of an assortment of American muscle cars. The front looks like it takes inspiration from the second-generation Dodge Charger, while the side profile looks like it borrowed design cues from the first-generation Mustang/ Dodge Challenger. But perhaps my most favorite part of this new Batmobile is the distinct fender flares that are quite frankly, badass looking.

Instead of having an engine up front, the Batmobile's V8 is seen hanging out at the back complete with decorative lighting and some brightwork. Also curious to see on the scale model are the huge fat tires at the back. Sure it may only be a scale model, but this could mean it will have one mean-sounding V8 once we see/hear it run and perform on the silver screen itself.

With the movie set to premiere in October 2021 (instead of the original June 25, 2021 opening), it will certainly be a long wait before we hear Bruce Wayne fire up the new Batmobile and chase the bad guys along the way.
