After three successful legs, Isuzu Philippines Corporation’s (IPC) four-wheel driving demonstrations returned to Metro Manila for its last installment this year.
Held on November 25 to 27, 2016 at the grounds of SM Fairview in Quezon City, the Isuzu 4x4 Action Playground offered visitors the chance to test the extreme terrain capabilities of Isuzu vehicles in the heart of the city.
The company provided two units each of the Isuzu mu-X 4x4 LS-A and Isuzu D-MAX 4x4 LS to tackle the course. The course was composed of obstacles designed to test the vehicles' limits; among them a slipper slope, articulation ramp, 40-degree transverse-angle ramp, and the 20-foot Thrill Hill.
“The urbane and sophisticated exterior styling of the Isuzu mu-X and Isuzu D-MAX, especially with their latest upgrades, may lead many people to overlook the fact that these two models’ 4x4 variants are highly capable vehicles that can take on any terrain and obstacle. By letting consumers witness and experience first-hand these capabilities in a controlled environment, like in the Isuzu 4x4 Action Playground, we can better inform them of the unmatched qualities of Isuzu vehicles,” said Arthue Balmadrid, IPC Senior Vice President.
There were also games held every two hours, booths that displayed a variety of accessorized Isuzu vehicles and standard models, plus a service caravan that offered a special 30-percent discount on parts and 20-percent on labor charges, as well as general repairs and light PMS on customer vehicles. A booth for Isuzu merchandise was also set up.
Customers who registered for the discounts on Isuzu-supplied parts, lubes and accessories can avail of the items at all authorized Isuzu dealerships in Metro Manila and Bulacan any day between November 25 and December 31, 2016.
Meanwhile, guests who inquired on Isuzu models were given the chance to play Pachinko and slot machine games where they received prizes. A giant Jengga was also put up for all guests to enjoy.
