Weeklong road closure due to bridge construction
Motorists who plan to go up to Baguio this week will have to find alternate routes as the scenic Kennon Road will be closed to traffic for the next 7 days.
Beginning September 27, 7:00AM, until October 3, 7:00PM, the Cordillera office of the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH-CAR) will close the aforementioned road due to the on-going bridge construction at Camp 5.
DPWH-CAR director Danilo Dequito advised motorists to take Marcos Highway or the Rosario-Pugo-Baguio Road going to and from Baguio City.
DPWH Pangasinan has also announced that it will close a section of the Urdaneta Junction Dagupan Road for the launching of a steel girder on the on-going overpass rehabilitation project in front of Robinson's Place.
All buses and light vehicles going to Dagupan City are adviced to turn right, while those heading for Sta. Barbara are adviced to turn left at Robinson's Mall.
