Kia has released a preview for their full-size sedan, the Cadenza, with a teaser sketch. Kia says the second generation Cadenza “will set new benchmarks for cutting-edge design, interior quality and contemporary luxury”. It promises to deliver higher levels of luxury and refinement to the large sedan segment. Positioned above the Optima, the 2017 Cadenza is set to be unveiled "sometime in 2016."
Immediately recognizable is the brand's signature 'Tiger Nose' grill and swept-back headlights that feature daytime running lights. The front also features a sporty and aggressive front bumper which houses the LED foglights. Moving on to it's side, one will notice the elongated hood, a wider, lower stance and sharper character lines, giving it a coupe-like profile.
As for the rear, it gets wraparound taillights, a dual exhaust system and a trunk with an integrated spoiler. Kia says the all-new Cadenza offers “A bold reinterpretation of the current model's popular design”
Kia has also previewed the interior of the 2017 Cadenza's interior, saying that it “boasts a fresh, luxurious appearance and layout that offers a sense of width and spaciousness”. The full-size sedan's interior will feature wood trim, gloss black and metallic accents, leather padding on the center console and doors and Kia's infotainment system.
