For weeks, Kia has been teasing us with an all-new small crossover that is set to make its global debut later this year. Despite having seen the car both inside and sketches, we still don't know the crossover's official name. In fact, the Korean automaker has been simply calling it 'small global crossover' in its press releases.

Now, we finally know the small crossover's name and it's called Seltos. The crossover was recently spied fully unveiled during a commercial shoot in the US. According to Autoblog, the Seltos appears to be sized in between the Soul and the Sportage.

Based on the photos, the real-life Seltos remains faithful to the design sketches Kia revealed earlier. Up front, it sports uniquely-shaped headlights and vertical fog lamps. Meanwhile, the rear looks similar to the SP Signature concept that was unveiled at Seoul earlier this year, especially with its slim taillights and unique exhaust design. All in all, the Seltos certainly does not look like any other Kia model on the road today.

Considering how accurate the exterior sketches were, it is safe to assume that the cabin will also look the part. Based on the sketch, the Seltos will have a simple looking dashboard featuring a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system display front and center. Sound and mood lighting will also be available with the Selto.

Kia has yet to confirm when the Seltos will officially be making its world premiere. The Moscow Motor Show and Frankfurt Motor Show which are scheduled for September are the next major events coming up.
