A sketch of the upcoming Honda FCEV Concept was released prior to its debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show this week. The concept is expected to give a glimpse of Honda’s next-generation fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) which the Japanese automaker intends to release in Japan and the US as early as 2015.
“The Honda FCEV Concept demonstrates the company’s vision for the future of personal mobility and our commitment to developing advanced alternative fuel vehicles,” said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda.
The next-gen FCEV will be the successor to the FCX Clarity debuted in 2005. It is considered to be the first fuel-cell electric vehicle sold to a retail customer.
