Lamborghini pays tribute to the Miura after the company recently unveiled a special edition Aventador at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. Called the Miura Homage, the limited one-off will come in an array of colors and specifications reminiscent of the 1960s supercar.
Done in-house by Lamborghini's Ad Personam studio, each Aventador Miura Homage will be available in the Miura's distinct hues. These include: Rosso Arancio Miura, Verde Scandal and Blue Tahiti as such.
The special edition Aventador will also come with special Miura badging which can be seen on the side and black Lamborghini logo on the rear. Special Dione alloy wheels complete the look of the Miura Homage. The front axle sits on 20-inches while the rear gets the slightly bigger 21-inches.
Inside, two choices of leather finishes can be had for the Miura Homage; Nero Ade or Terra Emilia. Both will come with contrast stitching and carbon fiber trim accents. The seats, on the other hand have the 50th anniversary logo stitched on the backrests. Rounding it all off is the Lamborghini lettering embroidered on the leather dashboard.
Powering the special edition Aventador will still be the 6.5-liter V12 motor that produces 700 PS at 8,250 rpm and 690 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Mated to a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission, it allows the Aventador to go from 0 – 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds before reaching its 350 km/h top speed.
Lamborghini will only build 50 examples of the Aventador Miura Homage, many of which are already reserved for buyers around the world.
