Lamborghini celebrates 50th anniversary with the launch of the Veneno Roadster
Only 9 units of the ultra-elite Lamborghini Veneno Roadster will be built in 2014 and sold at 3.3M Euros, tax-exclusive.

The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster pushes “street-legal” to its very limit with its design and performance. To obtain optimum aerodynamics and maintain stability through corners like an F1 car, there is no roof – just a reinforced rollover bar for safety. Talk about driving with the top down!
Its 6.5 liter twelve-cylinder engine churns out 750 hp and will send the Veneno Roadster from 0 to 100 km/h in just a mere 2.9 seconds and tops off at 355 km/h. This monster of an engine is mated to an extremely fast-shifting ISR transmission with five modes, which sending power to all 4 wheels.

All that power is moot if it lifts-off and ends up plastered on a building wall somewhere. That is why Lamborghini pushed the design to deliver maximum downforce and while creating minimal drag. The front operates like an aerodynamic wing while the rear optimizes airflow. Large vents cool the super engine and direct air to the rear wing as well.
The alloy wheels’ design also incorporated aerodynamic efficiency by working like a turbine to deliver cool air to the carbon-ceramic brake discs.
Inside, the 2 bucket seats are made from Lambo’s patented Forged Composite and the cockpit is lined with a hi-tech weave called CarbonSkin to further reduce the weight of the Veneno.
In total, it weighs just 1,490 kilograms.
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster pushes the limits of engineering, design and performance. With a price tag equal to the GDP of a developing country and limited production, it is an absolute must-have for supercar fanatics.
