In a month's time, Lamborghini will be dropping the covers off their highly anticipated SUV, the Urus. To pique everyone's interest in their high-performance SUV, the Italian automaker has released a short 30-second teaser trailer showing the Urus, still draped in full camouflage, tackling the sand dunes at high speeds.

Apart from it playing in the sand at speed, we also get to see some features of the Urus in the short video clip. At the start of the teaser, we see that the Urus has inherited the ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligence Management) system found on both the Aventador and the Huracan.

The Urus will also have more selectable driving modes instead of the usual Strada, Sport, and Corsa found on the Huracan and Aventador. It features three new modes – Sabbia (sand), which was used in the teaser, together with Terra (land) and Neve (Snow). At the 11-second mark, we get a short glimpse of the Urus featuring 4-wheel steering as well.

Though we get to see some of the Urus' features in the teaser, little is known about its technical specifications. What is certain about Lamborghini's high performance SUV is that it will be underpinned by Volkswagen Group's MLB Evo platform, which is also found on the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and the Bentley Bentayga, and powered by a biturbo 4.0-liter V8.

We will have to wait until December 4 before the Lamborghini Urus is fully revealed. In the meantime, watch the 'world's first super SUV' play in the sand in the teaser video above.
