A few weeks ago photos surfaced showing the updated version of the 2015 Ford Ranger Wildtrak in Thailand. Well, another batch of photos have popped up, this time showing the interior of the facelifted model.

Apart from the new look, the upcoming Ranger gets a radically redesigned dashboard. From what looks to be sneakily taken smartphone photos, the new Wildtrak has a revised center panel with a larger LCD screen for what we assume to be Ford's SYNC2 multimedia system. The steering wheel has also been changed for the new model as well as the design of the upholstery over current Wildtrak models. A pillar-mounted grab handle is also visible, for easier ingress and engress from the vehicle.

What's interesting to note is the modifications made to the climate control panel as well as the addition of a few more buttons on the shifter console; we presume the additional buttons indicate an upgraded 4x4 electronic suite similar to that of the 2015 Ford Everest.

Among many other changes, Ford has also installed a new European-style light control panel (similar to the Fiesta and Focus) below the driver-side A/C vent; current Rangers have their light controls on the steering column stalk. Also interesting is the completely new driver gauge panel; the Ranger Wildtrak now appears to have a central speedometer flanked by dual LCD screens similar to the current 2015 Ford Everest as inspired by the Ford Explorer.

What do you think of the changes that Ford made for the facelifted Ranger Wildtrak?
