Refreshed Honda Jazz set to make local debut soon, local pricing leaked
The B-segment hatchback will soon be saying hello to a refreshed contender. Following its debut in both Japan and Thailand, the 2018 Honda Jazz will soon be making its way to the Philippines. But it seems someone has preempted Honda Cars Philippines's official launch of the car.
If the image is to be believed, this could be the official local pricing of the upcoming hatchback.
According to what seems to be either a brochure or a product planning document, the pricing of the updated Jazz will begin at PhP 799,000 with the base model V M/T. The most expensive variant that will be available will be the new RS Navi CVT which will apparently retail for PhP 1,029,000.
Beyond that, there could also be new color options for the Jazz. Available for the VX and RS will supposedly be the new Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic. Meanwhile, exclusive only to the range-topping RS is Phoenix Orange. As for its exterior, Honda gave the 2018 Jazz a sharper design with a more prominent Solid Wing Face grill, sleeker headlights, and reshaped front and rear bumpers.
In addition, the updated hatchback may also come with restyled alloy wheels, daytime running lights on certain variants, full LED lighting on high-end models, a new touch panel for the automatic climate control system and an updated touchscreen infotainment.
It is expected that the 1.5-liter i-VTEC mill will be carried over in the refresh. It produces 120 PS along with 145 Nm of torque. Available transmissions include a 5-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
