2020 may be coming to a close, but it seems Nissan isn't done launching new vehicles. From the Ariya to the Z, and recently the Navara, the Japanese automaker is poised to launch more models soon.

What model will Nissan launch next? If these leaked photos are to be believed, we suspect it could be the next-generation Note.

Thanks to our friends over at Headlightmag, we now have our first look at what could be the all-new Note. From the looks of it, these leaked photos appear to have been taken from a brochure. It also suggests that the launch could happen sometime very soon. Though the leaked photos might not be of high quality, the changes are easy to spot.

Based on the photos, the next-generation Note is a big step forward from the today's model. Overall, it has a more rounded shape similar to the Ariya with a pair of slim headlights flanking the new V-Motion grille. The bumper takes on a minimalist design with slim air vents on the side and a large back central intake below. At the rear, gone are the vertical taillights and in its place is a slim one-piece unit. Meanwhile, thick black cladding is found on the rear bumper. Other exterior changes include fan-shaped wheels and a two-tone paint job.

There's no official word as to what will power the 2021 Note. However, Headlightmag hints it will be available with Nissan's e-Power hybrid powertrain similar to the one found in the Kicks e-Power. For reference, the hybrid powertrain in the Kicks uses a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that serves as a generator for the electric drive system. Total output is rated at 129 PS and 260Nm torque.

Nissan has not announced when the next-generation Note will debut nor released a teaser for the upcoming model. But if these leaked brochure photos are to be believed, then it could be very soon. Who knows, Nissan might surprise us and reveal the compact car before the year ends sometime in December.
