The current Subaru Forester may be due for a mid-cycle refresh after what appears to be leaked brochures and images of the supposed SUV were recently posted on the web.
If the pictures are to be believed, the updates on the Forester are minimal and only comprises subtle exterior and interior revisions.
Starting with the 2.0i-L, it gets new LED projector headlights, a revised grill, slightly tweaked front bumper, new alloy wheels and redone taillights.
Over to the 2.0 XT S-Limited, the changes are somewhat similar apart from the more aggressive grill design, chrome accents on the foglights and different set of alloy wheels.
Aboard the Forester, the changes are also minimal as the SUV only gets a new 3-spoke steering wheel, a slightly altered instrument cluster, new dashboard trim and newly-designed door handles.
Exact engine details were not revealed though the pre-facelift version of the 2.0i-L currently produces 150 PS and 198 Nm of torque while the turbocharged 2.0 XT pushes out 240 PS along with 350 Nm of torque. Both are mated to a Lineartronic CVT that drives all four wheels.
