A few months ago, leaked pictures of what appeared to be Nissan's upcoming Navara-based SUV appeared on the web. If the images are to be believed, Nissan's PPV fighter features a rugged and muscular exterior, along with a very prominent rear fascia design.
Now, newly-leaked images of the PPV have surfaced once more and this time we get to see both the front and rear of the supposed PPV, along with fresh details.
Apparently called the Nissan Terra over in China, the PPV gets a slightly altered front end. Unlike the Navara pickup from which it is based on, the Terra gets sharper-looking headlights, a larger V-Motion front grill and L-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The front bumper, on the other hand, appears to have been reshaped to give the PPV a more cohesive look.
Also notable on the Nissan Terra are the smoother wheel arches which makes the PPV have a cleaner look overall. Finally, the rear gets a unique set of taillights while the tailgate gets a large chrome trim piece on the center.
In terms of size, the Nissan Terra will supposedly measure 4882mm long, 1820mm wide and 1835mm tall. In addition, it has a 2850mm wheelbase and 255/60 series tires wrapped in 18-inch alloy wheels. Other features that will reportedly be available in the Chinese-spec Terra include front and rear cameras, parking sensors all around, LED headlights and LED turn signals on the side mirrors.
A gasoline-powered 2.5-liter QR25DE powers the Terra in China and it produces 184 PS. However, it is highly likely that other markets will come with the 2.5-liter YD25DDTi turbo-diesel engine offered in the Navara.
The Terra will make its debut in Auto China (Beijing) 2018, which starts from April 25 to May 4.
