A special edition model of the new Toyota Innova may soon join the lineup over in Indonesia. According to Autonetmagz, the leaked brochure images appear to show what Toyota calls the Innova Venturer.
Based on the pictures provided, it looks like the MPV gets a bespoke bodykit, along with a fresh set of 17-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black. The front section gets a new bumper spoiler with chrome plating. It even has tweaked black boomerang front grill for an extra touch of luxury added Toyota. Completing it all are the side rocker moldings and a new rear bumper, both of which also get chrome plating accent. The exterior is painted in a unique hue called Wine Red.
Apart from the bodykit, the Innova Venturer also received new upholstery. Gone is the brightly-colored interior as the Venturer gets black leather seats all-around. Over to features, everything pretty much carries over from the standard top-of-the-range V model we have here. These include automatic climate control, LED headlights, smart keyless entry, multi-info display, anti-lock brakes, seven airbags, ambient lighting and touchscreen infotainment.
Available engines for the Innova Venturer include the familiar 2.8-liter turbo-diesel (171 PS and 360 Nm), 2.0-liter gasoline inline-four (136 PS and 183 Nm) and the smaller 2.4-liter turbo-diesel (149 PS and 359 Nm) that is available in the Indonesian market. Transmissions for the Innova Venturer apparently include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
There is no word yet as to when Toyota Indonesia will launch the Innova Venturer.
