The 2017 Geneva International Motor Show may see McLaren unveil an all-new supercar. A newly leaked photo of what could be the 650S successor was recently posted by Instagram user 'woppum'. Called the P14, the sleek supercar is finished in an eye-catching hue called Volcano Orange.
Based on the photo, it looks like McLaren is showing off the new supercar to private events as a way to entice buyers and collect pre-orders. The overall design of the P14 exudes aggression and sharpness. The front fascia gets distinct headlights along with a very prominent nose. Contrasting the bright orange finish is the black-colored roof.
Ten-spoke alloy wheels adorn the wheel wells while the doors feature sleek character lines that run the entire length of the car. Muscular rear quarter panels are also seen on the P14, however no pictures of the rear were available.
It is rumored that the P14 will eventually be renamed as the 720S, adhering to the supercar's alleged horsepower rating of 720. Power will reportedly come from a new 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8.
If the P14 will indeed be the successor of the 650S, the upcoming supercar could become the flagship model of the Super Series lineup.
