Lexus performance division, F, celebrated their 10th anniversary last year. In order to commemorate 10 years of selling F-branded performance vehicles, the luxury Japanese automaker has decided to introduce limited anniversary editions of both the GS F and RC F. Both vehicles are finished in matte-gray and is combined with a plethora of carbon fiber exterior parts, setting them apart from standard models.
Starting with the GS F, it now comes with black gloss finished wheels and blue brake calipers. Inside, Lexus went with a white and blue color theme to set it apart. The leather seats and steering wheel are finished in blue and is contrasted by a white stripe in the center. More blue colored bits can be found on the shifter, rear seats and seatbelt.
As for the RC F, it follows mostly the same blue and white interior theme as the anniversary edition GS F. However, the rear seats and seatbelts have been left in black. Externally, the RC F does wear more carbon fiber bits such as the hood, fender and side skirt compared to the GS F.
For powertrain, both vehicles retain their factory engine and transmission setup. The naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 still produces 477 PS and 530 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Lexus did however add a titanium exhaust to make the cars louder and fit upgraded dampers.
Both vehicles are on sale now in Japan with the GS F being priced at 15 million yen and the RC F at 17 million yen. Unfortunately, both vehicles will not be offered outside of Japan.
