Fun, ResponsiblyIn a star studded event at the Manila Peninsula Hotel, Lexus Manila Incorporated unveiled their most important model to date, the Lexus CT200h. The arrival of the CT200h in Philippine shores precedes even some major automotive markets in the world including the United States where it starts selling in March.
The CT200h marks a significant departure for the Lexus brand, as it is their first ever compact hatchback, slotting right under the IS300 sedan. The car has a 5-door hatch form factor, with seating for 5 adults.
The powertrain of the new CT200h comprises the Lexus Hybrid Drive system; a combination of a highly efficient 1.8 liter, Atkinson Cycle engine and an electric motor. The new sporty hatchback offers the efficiency of the hybrid drive system, toggling between the engine or battery driven motor, and even combines both for more power and performance.
For the launch event, Lexus Manila Inc., headed by LMI President Daniel Isla, sourced the talents of Mr. David Pomeranz, Zsa Zsa Padilla and Pops Fernandez for a night of great music to welcome the latest member of the Lexus family.
The CT200h is priced at PhP 2,308,000 for the standard model and PhP 2,888,000 for the top of the line F-Sport model.
