Lexus has just announced that they will be arriving at this year's Concours d' Elegance with two refreshed models.
The company did not state on what will they bring but they did say that it will be the global premiere of the facelifted models.
One of the models that Lexus might premiere at Pebble Beach could be the updated LX570. Last June, a leaked image of what is believed to be the refreshed LX570 was posted on the web by Alhumbra.net, an Arabic automotive website.
If the leaked photo is to be believed, the facelifted LX570 will be fitted with the latest version of the brand's spindle grill along with restyled headlights. Completing the updates for the LX570 are new foglamps and the reshaped front bumper.
Details about its powertrain remain a mystery but it is likely that the 5.7-liter V8 that pumps out 386 PS and 544 Nm of torque will be carried over.
However, in a previous report, body-on-frame models like the LX and GX face an uncertain future as tightening vehicle regulations will likely force the company to re-engineer the LX and GX. There are no plans to axe the two nameplates but with stricter regulations being imposed on emission and fuel standards, a redoing of the two SUVs may soon be in order.
The global launch of the updated models will take place on August 13, 2015 at 1900 hours, Pacific Daylight Time.
