Lexus has just revealed the new LS sedan, but not the way you would normally think.

Normally, you would expect a brand like Lexus to reveal an all new model at some exclusive party at an expensive hotel in some exotic location. Well, there was an event, but this time the brand chose to webcast the proceedings via their Facebook page.

The 2013 Lexus LS proudly sports the new spindle grille design that has become the signature of the brand's style transition. The new model also gets more high tech details on the outside than the old model, adding to the intense new look.

Strictly speaking, the new 2013 LS is an evolution of the car, not a completely new generation. Lexus went to work on improving the car's luxurious features with larger screens, better comfort and better insulation for improved NVH. Seats have been redesigned, and also the rear ottoman with massage functions are still available. The brand also worked on giving their flagship a sportier drive with an optional air suspension system that gives 5 different driving modes, depending on the driver's mood.

The new LS will be offered as the LS460 (4.6 liter V8), the LS600h (hybrid powertrain), as well as a new F-Sport with a more aggressive interpretation of the new look, much like the GS350 F-Sport.

The new 2013 LS sedan is set to arrive in the Philippines later this year, joining the rest of the spindle grille-clad line up of Lexus Manila which includes the CT200h, the RX350/RX450h, the LX570, the GS350 and the recently launched ES350.
