Tired of the riveted overfender trend? Japan seems to show no signs of slowing down with the craze though. Liberty Walk has recently released the first set of photos of their signature kits fitted onto the Lexus LC. Though the photos are still renders, we do get an idea of what the finished product will look like once it debuts at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon in a few weeks time.
Like most of LB-Work's kits fitted on to other supercars, Lexus' grand cruiser also goes under the knife and now receives additional exterior parts which have been designed in partnership with tuner Artisan Spirits. New parts fitted on the Liberty Walk LC include a new front lip, a more aggressive rear diffuser, ducktail spoiler and the signature riveted fender flares.
Two designs are currently available for order on Liberty Walk's website. The version 2, which isn't pictured, will likely come with a differently designed rear wing. Likely, a more subtle unit such as the ones offered on other versions of their kits. Other optional parts include an AirREX air suspension kit and a quad exit exhaust.
The LB-Works x Artisan Spirts bodykit is available two different materials for their body kits – fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) and carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP). As the expected, version 1 is more expensive and is priced at $19,440 USD (Php 968,500), and $16,740 US (Php 840,000) for the version 2 kit. All modifications are applicable to both the LC500 and LC500h.
Expect to see Kato-san's first take on a Lexus make its debut at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon together with other wide bodied exotics this January 12-14.
