The BMW M235i Track Edition was recently unveiled in the Netherlands and has been dubbed as a more 'exclusive' and 'sporty' edition of the original M235i Coupe.

From the exterior, it now brandishes an M Performance Aerodynamics package that includes a front splitter, a carbon fiber trunk spoiler and a rear diffuser. The standard wheels are 19-inch lightweight M Performance alloys that are wrapped around run-flat tires.

The pedals finished in aluminum and the carbon handbrake lever is covered in Alcantara. Another special addition to the interior is the M Performance carbon fiber steering wheel that comes with an integrated display near the top of the rim of the steering wheel, which has a G-force meter, a lap timer and a gear indicator. The steering wheel is also covered in Alcantara for added grip when in extreme driving conditions.

Powering the rear wheels is a 3.0L straight-six TwinPower Turbo engine cranking out 326PS and mated to a 8-speed sports automatic  transmission. It can do 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds when used with the Launch Control feature and has an electronically controlled top speed of 250 km/h.

Each of the 12 samples will have a numbered badge and comes in 4 different colors; Mineral Weiss, Mineral Grey, Estoril Blue and Sapphire Black.
