Equipped with a lowered suspension and 16-inch alloy wheels
Daimler has recently unveiled a limited-run variant called the Edition 1 for the Smart ForFour.
It will only have graphite-gray colored body panels with two different color options for the tridion cell and side mirror caps; lava orange or black. The car sits on 16-inch alloy wheels and are wrapped in 185/50 R16 tires at the front, and 205/45 R16 tires at the rear. A black radiator grille and chrome exhaust tailpipe finishes the exterior look of the Edition 1 ForFour
The seats can be covered in either black or orange fabric while the instrument and door center panels also come in orange fabric but will have either black or gray trims to go with it. The multi-function 3-spoke steering wheel and shifter knob are given the leather treatment and the sports pedals are finished in aluminum with rubber studs.
Amenities and entertainment available inside the ForFour Edition 1 include a panoramic sunroof with sunblind, automatic climate control, a 3.5-inch TFT screen with an onboard computer and audio system, a center console drawer with two cup holders in the front, height-adjustable seatbelts for the driver and passenger and a reading light for the front passenger.
Daimler and Smart have not yet released details on how many of the Edition 1 will be made or how much it will cost.
