Cadillac has released the first official photos of the 2016 ATS-V ahead of its debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2016 ATS-V will be available either as a four-door sedan or a two-door coupe and both models will be powered by a twin-turbocharged engine. Cadillac says the production of the 2016 ATS-V will begin in March 2015.

The exterior of the 2016 ATS-V is designed with a lightweight carbon fiber hood that features an air-extracting vent. It has a mesh front grill with large openings to provide air for the twin-turbocharged engine. Moreover, the front bumper of the vehicle comes with air intakes and front splitter.

The rear of the vehicle is equipped with an “aero-optimized” spoiler, shark-fin antenna and four exhaust tips as seen on the bumper. The 2016 ATS-V is finished off with wider fenders to accommodate the 18-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Inside, it has a 16-way-adjustable Recaro performance front seats. The interior is trimmed in Mulan leather with sueded microfiber inserts and seatbacks. Cadillac offers three interior color combinations for the 2016 ATS-V ranging from jet black; jet balck with Saffron accents; and light platinum with jet black accents.

The 2016 ATS-V is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 twin-turbocharged DI VVT engine that delivers 461 PS and 603 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. It can go from 0-97 km/h in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of more than 298 km/h.
