Limited to 81 units
Lotus has just revealed the limited-edition Exige LF1, a special model to celebrate its Formula One team’s victories throughout the years.
The Exige LF1 is limited to 81 units that symbolizes the number of grand prix victories held by the Lotus marque.
Lotus says each of the 81 limited-edition vehicles will celebrate a specific grand prix from #1 commemorating the team’s first GP victory in Monaco in 1960 to car #81 with Kimi Raikkonen’s win at Australia in 2013.
Moreover, each vehicle will also be individually numbered with its own limited-edition carbon fiber build plate.
The limited-edition vehicle bring to life the iconic black and gold livery of the 1970’s and 1980’s. The Exige LF1 pays tribute to the Lotus F1 cars of the past and incorporates the design concept present in today’s E22.
The exterior of the Exige LF1 has a bespoke black and gold livery with red accents, LF1 logo, exclusive black and gold Lotus nose badge and Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo tires. It also has an 17” front and 18” rear cast alloy wheels in black and gold paint scheme.
Inside, black and gold design dominates the interior details. The black leather and “technical fabric” has gold contrast stitching and piping.
It has an embroidered LF1 logos on headrest and floor mats. The seat backs of the vehicle have an embroidered Lotus F1 Team logo.
The Lotus Exige LF1 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 350 PS with 400 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4 seconds with a top speed of 274 km/h.
