After making its debut last June, BMW recently revealed a large selection of accessories and upgrades from M Performance that is now available for the company’s latest Sports Activity Coupe, the X6.
Starting with the exterior is the Aerodynamics Package that gives the X6, a more sporting and masculine appearance according to the German automaker. It consists of a carbon fiber front splitter, a rear diffuser and spoiler, and high-gloss black rear fins and side flaps.
Other aesthetic upgrades done to the X6 include hand-build carbon fiber M Performance mirror caps, a black radiator grill, a set of 21-inch bi-color lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in run-flat tires and a M Performance stainless steel exhaust system that according to BMW not only looks good but provides a different exhaust note due to improved gas channeling.
Inside, the interior can be trimmed in carbon fiber while the aluminum brushed door sill plates can be illuminated with LED lighting. The steering wheel can be covered in Alcantara with carbon fiber trim, which allows for maximum grip and usability in any temperature. Completing the redone interior is a set of stainless steel pedal covers and footrest.
A Power Kit performance upgrade has been made available for both the X6 xDrive 30d and X6 xDrive 35i. The kit includes a revised ECU, an upgraded intercooler system and larger 18-inch disc brakes for better stopping power. The diesel-driven xDrive 30d now generates 277 PS with 585 Nm (stock form 258 PS, 560 Nm) while the gas-fed xDrive 35i now produces 326 PS and 450 Nm (stock form 306 PS, 400 Nm).
