With the recent launch of the Ghibli and Quattroporte, Maserati has confirmed plans to launch a number of new models until 2018.
First is the Levante, a crossover sport-utility vehicle (SUV) that was previewed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Levante will be the first SUV manufactured by Maserati.
The automaker didn’t give many details on the Levante, but confirmed that it will have an all-wheel-drive system and will be powered by a variety of engines:
- A V6 engine that delivers an output of 350 PS and 425 PS
- A V8 engine with 560 PS
- A turbodiesel engine that can produce 250 PS, 275 PS and 340 PS
After the Levante, Maserati will unveil the production version of the Alfieri concept, which has made its global debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It will be available as a coupe and convertible, with rear- or all-wheel drive.
The Alfieri will be powered by a V6 engine that is available with 410 PS, 450 PS and 520 PS.
Lastly, Maserati will introduce a new GranTurismo model that will have rear-wheel drive. It will be powered by a V8 engine that is capable of producing 560 PS.
