Die-cast collectors, are you looking forward to the next set of cars Matchbox will be releasing soon? If so, the company has given a sneak peek of what's in store for the coming months, as well as next year. They have shown a video of what to expect and all the cars you'll see are in their prototype forms, meaning these aren't the final look just yet. How many can you identify?

They first showed what's coming in 2019 and there are some pretty significant cars to be seen there. Again, don't be surprised if you see them in bright, pastel colors, they are still in their prototype stages. Some of the highlights for 2019 will please the JDM fanatics, as well as the Europhiles. These cars include the Porsche 911 dakar rally raid, BMW 2002, Mercedes-Benz S123 wagon, and even a Subaru SVX. They also included a kei truck, which is a little difficult to identify at the moment.

Upcoming 2018 releases feature a host of Mercedes-Benz models. These are the McLaren-Mercedes SLR, GLE Coupe, the first-generation CLS, and the Unimog. British and American cars make their presence felt too, with a Dennis fire truck, Jaguar E-Type convertible, Austin 3000, Dodge Viper R/T-10, the first Ford F-series truck, and a yet to be identified classic police car. Perhaps you can ID it.

Lastly, the Basic Plus and Superfast range have been previewed as well. The best part is, we see the return of the opening doors, something Matchbox models haven't had for quite some time now. Shown are the die-cast prototypes for the Honda S2000, Nissan Xterra, Mercedes-Benz 'Fintail', Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, and more.

Needless to say, it's a good time to be a die-cast collector.
