Maxus continues to broaden its market reach in the country. After first arriving in the country in June 2019, the automaker has opened its 8th dealership in the Philippines, Maxus Makati.

The official opening was attended by executives from both Maxus Philippines and AC Motors (Ayala Motors). These included AC Motors Automobile Group president Antonio 'Toti' Zara III, Automobile Central Enterprise Inc. president Felipe Estrella III, and Maxus Philippine General Manager Jun Cajayon.

“Maxus Philippines moves forward with its expansion plans, as this not only expresses our faith that the local economy will recover and pick up where it left off before the pandemic, the expansion also strengthens the Maxus brand integrity among Filipino motorists. The more dealerships we have, the more accessible our vehicles and services will be, which would ultimately lead to a stronger and more competitive brand,” said Cajayon.

Maxus Makati, which is located along Osmena Highway in Magallanes, has a five-car showroom display. It features the G10 and V80 vans, T60 pick-up truck, G50 MPV, and the D60 SUV. It will also soon have a service center that can accommodate multiple vehicles simultaneously for ease of servicing.

Bob Palanca, Chief Operating of Iconic Dealership Inc., says he is looking forward to a more robust business for Maxus since it now has a presence in Makati.

“Makati City is the beating heart of the country’s financial and business sectors, and this is also where Filipinos from all walks of life converge. Now that a Maxus dealership is in Makati City, we can be sure that Maxus vehicles will be even more within reach of our target clientele. I can already see Maxus Makati making significant contributions to Maxus Philippines’ overall sales.”

Maxus Makati joins the company's list of dealerships that include Maxus Mandaluyong, Maxus Quezon Avenue, Maxus Taguig South, Maxus Cebu, Maxus Iloilo, Maxus Bacolod, and Maxus Cagayan De Oro.
