Mazda is looking forward to the week ahead as the Mazda3 celebrates its decade long existence. The very first Mazda3 rolled off the Mazda production line in Hofu, Japan on June 25, 2013. The Mazda3 captured the heart of many drivers around the world with the design, performance and quality that went with it.
The first generation Mazda3 is one of the brand's original 'Zoom-Zoom' generation and has sold about 2.2 million units worldwide. In the Philippines, the first generation Mazda3 was first introduced early 2004, it gained instant popularity for the value that it offered as with the rest of the world. The second generation Mazda3 was introduced on 2009 and still falls under the 'Zoom-Zoom' umbrella and has sold around 1.4 million units globally.
The automotive world awaits as Mazda is set to unveil an all-new model tomorrow, some hints points towards the all-new 2014 Mazda3 that is expected to sport the brand's 'Kodo' design philosophy and powered by SkyActive technology that can be seen in their current generation models like the Mazda6 and the Mazda CX-5.
