As part of the McLaren’s continued celebrations for its 50th anniversary, the company is producing a commemorative model of its McLaren 12C and 12C Spider to celebrate its five decades of race-winning technology and expertise. Production of the McLaren 50 12C and 12C Spider will be limited to a maximum of 50 cars per model.

The limited edition McLaren 50 12Cs will be produced by the McLaren Special Operations (MSO) and will feature a number of bespoke styling and specification enhancements to mark the milestone event.

The 50th anniversary edition 12Cs will be sporting a remodeled front bumper to further improve its aerodynamic qualities; it is constructed with a mix of carbon fiber and carbon Kevlar as its material for optimum weight. A McLaren F1-inspired heritage badge will be fitted on the car’s bonnet to add exclusivity.

Some more performance-enhancing features include carbon ceramic brakes, bespoke McLaren 50 ultra lightweight wheels (2kg lighter than optional super lightweight wheels) in satin black finish.

Inside the cabin, the McLaren 50 12C models are upholstered with a full leather upgrade, while the carbon fiber sill panel and floor mats is complimented by a special anniversary-edition plate on the driver’s door which highlights the limited run.

These limited-edition McLaren 50 12C models will be offered in three striking color finishes – Carbon Black, Supernova Silver or heritage McLaren Orange.

To top all of the visual and performance upgrades on the car, each of the McLaren 50 models will be presented with a monogrammed black and silver car cover, limited edition key, carbon fiber presentation key box and a specially commissioned print signed by McLaren Automotive Design Director, Frank Stephenson.

The recommended retail price for the McLaren 50 12C is £196,000 (PhP12,321,725.02), and £215,500 (PhP13,547,610.93) for the McLaren 50 12C Spider.
