Winner Ramon Raymundo will represent PH in SEMA but car not included
Meguiar’s Philippines proclaimed Ramon Raymundo as the winner of the 2013 Meguiar’s Car Crazy International contest winner. The win grants him a chance to represent the country in SEMA 2013; however, his winning car will not be shipped and included in the said motor show.
Raymundo’s entry in the contest is the restored white 1965 Mercedes Benz 230SL. The car was rebuilt by Andrew Hizon Arago I of A-Plus Body Works in San Pablo Laguna.
The 230SL grabbed the most number of votes in a line-up of entries that included a Subaru Impreza, Toyota Corona, Honda Civic, and Mitsubishi Lancer. The voting for the favorite entry lasted from July 21 to September 30. The contest's 2nd-placer is the Mazda RX-7 of Johnson Tan while the 3rd-placer is the Subaru Impreza of Vincent Dino.
