Mercedes-Benz continues to release special edition models that wear a dark themed exterior. After revealing the sporty V-Class Night Edition last week, Mercedes-Benz has now released the Nightfall Edition for the C-Class.
Available in all body styles (sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon), the Nightfall Edition comes standard with AMG Line goodies along with blacked-out exterior aesthetics that give the car a more sophisticated look.
Powder-coated matte black alloy wheels, as well as matching black side mirror caps give the Nightfall special a serious demeanor. Standard wheel size comes in at 18-inches while the optional 19-inch multi-spoke alloys are available as an option.
In addition, the convertible and coupe body styles can come with a carbon rear spoiler which further enhances the Nightfall Edition's look. Finally, a choice of three metallic hues are available for the special edition C-Class: Iridium Silver, Obsidian Gray and Selenite Gray.
As mentioned earlier, the Nightfall C-Class is equipped with AMG Line accessories as standard. With it, the special edition sedan gets the following add-ons: black ash wood trim for the interior, flat-bottomed AMG steering wheel, an AMG bodykit, sport-tuned suspension and a diamond front grill with chrome pins (available only for the coupe and convertible body styles).
A total of three engine choices are available for the C-Class Night Edition; two turbo-diesels and one turbocharged gasoline engine. First up is the C 220d which puts out 170 PS and 400 Nm of torque from a 2.2-liter four-cylinder. Next is the more powerful C 250d which also displaces 2.2-liters. It generates 204 PS and a healthy 500 Nm of torque. Last but not the least is the C 200 which is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine that produces 184 PS and 300 Nm of torque.
Other available features that can be specified for the C-Class Nightfall include ambient interior lighting, keyless-go comfort package, memory and panoramic glass sunroof package, a Burmester surround sound system and Comand Online.
