Thinking about sprucing up the 2019 G-Class once you get your hands on one? You're in luck as Mercedes-Benz recently revealed the sportier-looking variant of the iconic 4x4 in the latest AMG Line specification.
Immediately apparent on the 2019 G-Class are the new lightweight 20-inch AMG alloy wheels that come with a multi-spoke design. Behind those are cross-drilled disc brakes with Mercedes-Benz-branded brake calipers.
Further beefing up the G-Class' rugged look are the bigger wheel arches and the brushed aluminum accents. Also, both the front and rear fascias get a mild redesign thanks to new aprons that give the G-Class a more striking look.
Inside, both the new flat-bottomed steering wheel and black leather seats get red contrast stitching. Meanwhile, the seatbelts are finished in red which further accentuates the 4x4's sporty look. Last but not the least, Mercedes-Benz also threw in AMG floor mats for the G-Class.
Under the hood, it comes with Mercedes-AMG's bi-turbo V8 that displaces 4.0-liters. Like the standard model, it produces 422 PS with 610 Nm of torque and is mated to a new nine-speed automatic transmission. New, however, is the sports exhaust system which gives it a nicer sounding exhaust note.
