Officially opened to the public along 5th Avenue corner 24th Street, the new dealership serves as the first Mercedes-Benz 'MAR2020' showroom in the country. The new location not only serves as the brand's latest dealership, but it also features the brand's new design concept called 'Markenauftritt Retail', which means Brand Appearance Retail.
Unlike typical showrooms, the new Mercedes-Benz BGC showroom can be experienced digitally to serve the new breed of customers. Using new technologies, Mercedes-Benz's goal is to transform the way one can learn about the car, to the actual buying and payment.
The 554-square meter state-of-the-art facility features a new contemporary architecture inside and out. With an emphasis on combining traditional and modern design, the new Mercedes-Benz BGC showroom makes use of digital forms of displaying media. The facility makes use of LED screens that integrate point of sale, as well as communicate relevant content in a clear and entertaining manner. With it, Mercedes-Benz believes that the point of sales becomes a point of experience.
When it comes to configuring the car they want, customers will be able to use digital touch tables that will allow them to customize their preferred model. Product presentations and visualizations are also shown on LED screens called 'Star Walls'. There will also be product experts present to answer questions about the technical aspects, as well as provide practical advice on how to make full use of a vehicle's features.
As a final touch to the complete dealership experience, Mercedes-Benz BGC also features a new handover area. There, customers will be able to check firsthand their brand-new Mercedes-Benz before driving it off.
