Mercedes-Benz grabbed the opportunity during their home grand prix at Hockenheim to reveal the latest version of the CLS: the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake.
During the event at the eve of the German GP dubbed “Night of the Stars”, Mercedes-Benz and their drivers in Formula One and DTM revealed the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake. The new shooting brake (a sleeker interpretation of a wagon) gets Mercedes-AMG's new 5.5 liter twin turbo V8 with 525 PS.
Also, during the event, Mercedes and their drivers presented the new A-Class (A 250 Sport), the SLK 55 AMG and the SL 65 AMG 45th Anniversary Edition.
The highlight of the show was the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake “Edition 1” with a specially tuned engine built by (with assistance from the AMG team) Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg themselves during their visit to the AMG facility last July 18. The the 5.5L bi-turbo V8 in the Edition 1 models gets 557 PS.
