Plan ahead as Manila may get clogged

In a statement posted over social media, Local Government Officer-in-Charge Catalino Cuy announced the routes – along with time and date – which will be blocked for the ASEAN Summit. Cuy, who is also the concurrent chairperson of the ASEAN Committee for security, peace and order, and Emergency Preparedness and Response (CSPOEPR) urged motorists to avoid the following areas during the dates approaching the summit:

Partial lockdown CCP Complex, Pasay City - November 8 (12:01AM onwards)

Complete lockdown of SMX MAAX Block, Pasay City - November 11 (10:00PM onwards)

Complete lockdown of CCP Complex, Pasay - November 12 (12:01AM onwards)

Complete lockdown of Roxas Boulevard, Manila (Padre Burgos to Buendia section) -  November 13 (12:01AM onwards)

Partial lifting of lockdown of SMX-MAAX Block, Pasay - November 13 (12:01AM onwards)

Lifting of lockdown of Roxas Boulevard, Manila (Padre Burgos to Buendia section) – November 13 (12:00NN onwards)

Continuous lockdown of CCP Complex, Pasay - November 14 (12:01AM onwards)

Partial lifting of lockdown of CCP Complex, Pasay - November 15 (12:00NN onwards)

During partial lockdown periods, pedestrians and motorists without ASEAN IDs and decals will be allowed to pass partially locked down areas after passing through pre-assigned security inspection areas. That said, it would still be best to plan ahead and avoid these areas altogether.
