The official distributor of MG in the Philippines was recently awarded the highest recognition among international MG dealers worldwide. From a list of over 50 distributors overseas, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) won the 2020 Five-Star Distributor Award.
The award was given to TCCCI based on comprehensive data such as sales performance, marketing, aftersales service, and dealership network. With it, TCCI joins an exclusive club of Five-Star Distributor awardees in 2020. These include the Tajeer Group MG Saudi Arabia, South Pacific Motor Chile SPA, Brisbane MG, and Mansour MG Automotive. Even MG Iloilo took home a Four-Star Award in the dealerships category.
“It is our honor at The Covenant Car Company, Inc. to receive the Five Star Distributor recognition from our international principals at MG. We are privileged and proud to represent the MG brand in the Philippines, and to be recognized on our first year of full operations fuels our drive at TCCCI to go further in elevating the MG brand in the country,” said Atty. Alberto Arcilla, president, and CEO of TCCCI, MG Philippines.
The award also marks a unique milestone for the company, as TCCCI was recognized as the first-ever MG distributor to achieve a Five-Star status on its first full year of operations. For Arcilla, this proves just how serious they are in further broadening the MG name throughout the country. With the ZS, the RX5, the MG6, and the MG5 at their disposal, MG Philippines is looking forward to expanding its dealer network, as well as sell more vehicles in the process.
“This award is a recognition of the collective work of all who have dedicated themselves to the introduction and expansion of MG in the Philippines: our shareholders, our esteemed board, stewards, dealer partners, bank partners, our colleagues in the media, and our valued MG clients. As we are thankful, we acknowledge that this is truly a testament of the Lord’s covenant to our company,” added Arcilla.
With MG Philippines setting its eyes in selling more vehicles in the future, we will not be surprised to see more MG cars (particularly the ZS) gaining in popularity in the local market.
