Mini builds a special Cooper for Prince Harry, Meghan Markle wedding

One-off Mini Cooper S built to commemorate Prince Harry, Meghan Markle wedding

With the royal wedding of British Prince Harry and Meghan Markle happening this May 19th, Mini has decided to mark the occasion by gifting the couple a one-off 3-door Cooper S. Developed by Mini Design, the royal Cooper S has been finished in Crystal White paint. What makes it stand out however, is the intricate, hand-made roof graphic.

The roof design is said to be a combination of elements from both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's national flags – the Union Jack and the Stars and Stripes, respectively. Several layers of multi-colored graphics were then applied by hand in order to complete the design. Apart from the roof, there are also matte silver-blue stripes placed on the hood and side of the vehicle to give it a more distinct look.

To further specialize it for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, 3D printing was used for the Mini's side scuttles and have been embellished with the initials 'M' and 'H' with a heart around the rings. Completing the exterior makeover are door-mounted LEDs which project 'Just Married' onto the ground when the doors open.

Inside, the same wedding theme from the exterior has also been applied. The Satellite Gray seat headrests have been upholstered with the same graphics found on the roof. The graphics also make their way to the rest of the interior such as the door strips and behind the steering wheel. The names of both the bride and groom along with the wedding date are on special trim piece fitted on the passenger-side dashboard.

Following the royal wedding, the newlyweds will hand off the special Mini Cooper S to the Children's HIV Association for public auction.
