Mitsubishi has Rockford Fosgate-equipped Montero Sport in Indonesia

Automobile owners usually modify their cars to their own liking. One such system that often gets replaced is the audio. In Indonesia, Mitsubishi Motors have decided to partner with Rockford Fosgate to release a limited edition Pajero Sport, a model that we locally know as the Montero Sport.

Called the Pajero Sport Rockford Fosgate, the limited edition model was introduced to cater to sound enthusiasts. It comes with two 1-inch dome tweeters in the front, 6.5-inch mid-bass speakers at the front doors, 6.5-inch Coaxial 2-way speakers at the rear doors and a 10-inch subwoofer fitted at the trunk. Completing the audio package is a 300-watt amplifier.

Externally, the Pajero Sport Rockford Fosgate does take on a sportier styling compared to the regular model. It has distinct 18-inch alloy wheels finished in two-tone paint, unique front and rear under garnishes, 'Pajero Sport' hood emblem, and Rockford Fosgate limited edition badges on the tailgate and the spare tire cover. Inside, the seats have been fitted with black leather.

The rest of the limited edition Pajero Sport is similar to the regular models. It is still powered by the 2.4-liter 4N15 MIVEC diesel engine which produces 181 PS and 430 Nm of torque. It is then mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

This limited edition Pajero Sport Rockford Fosgate costs IDR 535,000,000 (about Php 1,982,000).
