NAIAS 2013: Audi launches the new RS7 Sportback

Powered by V8 twin-turbo petrol engine and has a top speed of 304km/h

Audi's new RS7 Sportback makes its world public debut at the 2013 North American International Automobile Show in Detroit.

It uses a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 TFSI engine mated to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission to send its acceleration time from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 249km/h which can be increased by the optional 'Dynamic and Dynamic Plus' package to increase the boost and reach a top speed of 304km/h.

The RS7 Sportback is also equipped with Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive with sport differential, standard RS-specific adaptive air suspension with option of steel-sprung suspension incorporating Dynamic Ride Control (DRC). It also employs advanced cylinder-on-demand technology that shuts down four cylinders under low and intermediate engine loads to ensure that economy holds true to Audi efficiency ambitions.
