Kia is gearing up for this year's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) as the company recently released design renderings of the upcoming 2019 Forte Sedan. According to Kia, the 2019 Forte 'retains its sporty and youthful image' but has been given thorough redesign for a more sophisticated look.

Unlike the pre-facelift version, the 2019 Forte features a Stinger-inspired design which gives it a sleeker, more menacing appearance. From a cab-forward design, the refreshed Forte will now come with a sweptback finish. It will also have creases on the hood which Kia claimed shall give the Forte Sedan a more distinct and muscular appearance. Meanwhile, the tiger-nose grill and tapered headlights features a more prominent finish.

Both the front and rear bumpers get a sporty design which complements the fresh design of the 2019 Forte. But perhaps the most striking change up on the Forte are its sleek taillights that are now wider than before.

Beside the exterior, Kia was also busy tweaking the interior of the Forte. With a 'less is more approach', Kia thought best to make a clutter-free cabin by using clean horizontal lines and installing less buttons for in-car systems. Like the Stinger, the updated Forte will also come with aeronautically-inspired spoke circular aircon vents.
