Navara is Nissan PH's best-selling vehicle in 2024
Turbo-diesel offerings of Nissan continue to be the brand's most popular vehicles

Nissan may be experiencing some hardships as of late but in the Philippines, the brand continues to be one of the go-to brands for Filipino customers.
For the year that was, Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) was able to shift 26,774 vehicles in 2024. This translates to a 5.64% share of the automotive market which is slightly less than 2023’s sales performance which saw the brand get a 6.14% share of the market thanks to 27,136 units sold.

But which Nissan vehicle led the sales figures? Despite its age, the Navara continues to be the brand’s cash cow after selling 10,297 units of the pickup truck. It may already be due for a full model change but Nissan was able to update the Navara by giving it a new dashboard and touchscreen system that’s reminiscent of its SUV sibling, the Terra.

Speaking of the Terra, the midsize 7-seater SUV sits behind the Navara in terms of sales as 5,779 new customers bought one in 2024. Sitting in third place is the evergreen people carrier, the Urvan. Despite already collecting some years, the diesel-powered van was still able to attract 4,796 customers in 2024.

Fourth is the Livina MPV which was able to find 2,941 happy customers last year. The innovative Kicks e-Power followed closely behind with 1,556 examples sold in 2024. The Almera, meanwhile, is in sixth place after the automaker was able to move 785 examples of the B-segment sedan.

Next is the mighty Patrol which became the choice of 521 buyers last year. It’s due for a full model change as the all-new Y63 generation is set to arrive next month.

Moving on, the sleek and sexy Z was able to find 89 new customers who were looking for a twin-turbo V6-powered two-seater. The zero-emissions Leaf, meanwhile, attracted 7 new customers in 2024. Last but not least, the GT-R found its way to 3 new garages last year.

With the all-new Patrol set to debut soon along with the possibility of the Magnite also making its way to the Philippines in 2025, perhaps Nissan will be able to increase its sales performance this year.
